What is Liverpool University?
The Liverpool University is a public university located in the city of Liverpool, England. You will need to access this portal using your university credentials to confirm that you are a member or a student. Once you are logged into the portal, you will be able to download and install or use the latest version – including your mobile device or tablet.

Login to Webmail first.
- Step 2
In the banner at the top right of the page, click Options> View all options.
- Step 3
Select the phone from the menu on the left side of the page.
- Step 4
You should see a list of any mobile devices that have recently synchronized with your account.
- Step 5
Click on the device in the list to select it, and then click the Clear device option.
- Step 6
The next time the device tries to synchronize with the University Exchange server it will be cleared.
- Step 7
You will receive an email with confirmation that it has been cleared.

Constantly clicking on your email as new messages arrive is considered too disruptive for your working day. If an incoming email message interrupts you from productive work, it may take an average of four minutes to get back on track. So in a single day, if 15 emails drop you off, you lose an hour of productive time. By establishing efficient practices for dealing with email, you can take control of your working day.

Your Mailing List A sender is allowed to send an email to a specific listing address. The email message will then be sent transparently to all subscribers on that list.
If there is a group of people that you email regularly, a mailing list is better than a group or distribution list in Outlook.
Login to manage mailing lists
- You will need to login to login to LISTSERV.
- Your login details will be either your firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
- Once you have successfully logged in.
Forgot your password
- Click to get a new listers password.
- Enter your email address in the provided boxes and your new password in the provided boxes.
- And then click Register Password.
- You will see a send confirmation message that an email has been sent to your mailbox.
- To activate your password, follow the instructions in the message.
How to add or remove someone from my list
- From the Listed Dashboard, click the drop down arrow next to List Management.
- And select Subscriber Management.
- You have to select the list you want to modify.
- Either search for a customer or add a new subscriber to the list.
To add or remove a list owner
- Go to the main list screen and click Configure under the list that you want to add or remove the owner.
- Select the List Maintenance tab.
- Scroll down and the owner field will have the email addresses of the current owners.
- Owners who do not receive emails about list errors will be displayed in a quiet area.
- Remove an owner to delete their email address and add the owner type to their full email address.
- Scroll to the bottom or top of the page to update the list and click Save on the right side of the screen.
Backing up your Liverpool emails using Outlook (Import/Export)
You need to double-click the Outlook icon on your desktop. If prompted, log in with your university computing out credentials.
- Click from your inbox and Open Export or Import.
- The Import and Export Wizard will open. Select Export in the file under Action and click Next button.
- Choose the Outlook Data File (.pst) on the Export of File page and click Next button.
- Select the top folder named firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Place a tick next to the insert of the subwoofer lords.
- Then click Next button.
- If you have backed up your entire mailbox then just select the folder you want to back up, such as Contacts.
- Select where you want to save the backup file.
- And navigate to where you want to save the file.
- Select Replace duplicates with exported items under Options.
- Click Finish when ready.
- You can specify a password for your backup in the Create Outlook Data File window if you wish.
- Outlook will then begin the process of backing up your mailbox to the file you specified.
Access backup emails in Outlook
- Log in to the new profile and then go to File Import and open.
- Select Import from another program or file.
- And click Next button.
- On the Import File page, select the Outlook Data File (.pst) and click Next button.
- The Import Outlook Data File page, click the Browse button, locate your backup file, and then double-click the file.
- And then click Next button.
- Select the top level folder and make sure there is a tick next to Insert Subfolders.
- Choose to import items into the same folder.
- Select the appropriate folder from the drop down menu in which you want to import your emails.
- And click Finish option.
- Your university mails will then be imported into your personal Outlook account.
